  • Hands-on training and experience with a variety of technology useful in the classroom.
  • Copies of all SPIRAL activities (based on National Standards) for use in your classroom.
  • 3 or 6 free graduate credits (per participant) of "best practice" interdisciplinary teacher preparation (including sessions regarding curriculum development, special needs students, learning styles, and career options).  Note: participants will need to pay minimal IUP fees.
  • Equipment ($3000+ value): Graphics Calculator/Viewscreen, Calculator-Based Laboratory/Probe Kit, CD-ROM Resource Materials, Software (Office Professional, Mineral ID, GraphLink, Lake Study, Topographic Maps), Digital Camera, Lorax Video, Thin Layer Chromatography Plates, HACH Color Wheel and Cube Kits, Geological Materials, and numerous probes.
