The Verizon GIFT program encourages innovative math and science teaching by annually providing 120 outstanding educators with funds for professional development activities and hands-on classroom projects. 
 

Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics & Science Teaching

The NSF program identifies outstanding science and mathematics teachers, kindergarten through 12th grade, in each state and the four U.S. jurisdictions. These teachers will serve as models for their colleagues and will be leaders in the improvement of science and mathematics education.
