What is SPIRAL?

SPIRAL is an Eisenhower-funded professional development program for K-12 pre-service and in-service teachers, administrators, and special needs instructors.  The goal is to provide training in interdisciplinary content and technology and provide SPIRAL activities that integrate innovative technologies with inquiry and collaborative-based teaching strategies to strengthen science and mathematics instruction across gender, ethnic, age, and ability groups.  A district team consists of 5 members--an administrator, a special needs instructor, and science and mathematics K-12 teachers.
